How Loxone Optimizes Your Home's Temperature Control (Climate Control Explained)
When you first start using the Loxone system in your home, it begins by learning how long it takes to heat or cool each room to your desired temperature. This learning process typically takes about two weeks. During this time, you might notice a hatched green bar outside of your comfort schedule on the app—this indicates that the system is in pre-heating or pre-cooling mode.
What does this mean? Simply put, Loxone has gathered enough data to predict how long it will take to adjust the temperature in your room. For instance, it might determine that it will take around six hours to lower the room temperature by 2.6 degrees to reach your desired setpoint at the beginning of your comfort zone.
Unlike traditional heating and cooling systems, Loxone doesn’t wait until the start of your scheduled comfort time to begin adjusting the temperature. Instead, it calculates precisely when to start heating or cooling to ensure that your room reaches the perfect temperature exactly when you want it.
This smart approach not only ensures your comfort but also maximizes energy efficiency by avoiding unnecessary heating or cooling.
