Counterfeit 1-Wire Sensors

Thanks for getting in touch and for sending all this information through. I've looked over this and I'm afraid it appears that you have unknowingly purchased counterfeit 1-wire temperature sensors, with which this is a known issue. I can tell this by the serial numbers in the image you've sent over, and also I see a number of sensors reading exactly 25°, which is what these sensors do when they experience an error and restart.

Any serial numbers of counterfeit devices will be as follows:
28-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX
Whereas a genuine serial number will be as follows:
28-XX-XX-XX-XX-00-00-XX

None of the devices with errors show the "00-00" that we would expect to see in a genuine sensor's serial number. I'm afraid the only resolution to this is to replace them with genuine sensors, either purchased directly from us or from a reputable electronics retailer.
