Loxone lighting modes day and night motion scenes

Operating modes for lighting scenes - day motion/night motion

We use intelligent lighting controllers to manage smart lighting in your smart home.

These have a number of functions from motion control of lights to lighting "scenes" or "moods" and even adjusting your lighting according to other inputs such as the lux level/brightness of the room (requires brightness sensors.)

Using modes we can trigger different actions at different times. For example we may configure a Night Mode for so that motion in a room triggers a different lighting scene after a certain time. e.g. at night time only turn on the LED accent lighting in the bathroom, not the main downlights. Night mode can be enable a number of ways such as: on a schedule, via a third party voice control device (Echo, HomeKit, Smart Things, etc) or simply enabled when you turn off the lights in the master bedroom, for example.

These modes need to be added on the back end, so if you need any additional modes please just reach out to our support team.

As you can see, once you have a mode you can set the use it trigger different light scenes according to the mode of the system at the time and the mode can be set by any number of inputs, ranging from a simple timer to a specific action such triple click on a specific light switch, the possibilities are only limited by our imaginations.
